The public good is sunshine on a cloudy day

Editorial: The public good still matters-DMN-4-10-12

The  Dallas Morning News editorial on the public good is very interesting. It makes me think about something all citizens should value.

What is America without the public good? Where do citizens get an understanding of the public good?

Is education complete if young people do not understand the role of citizens in protecting the public good?

What replaces the public good when it is lost?

And who decides what is the public good?

There can be no public good without "We the people."

The public good cannot survive without sunshine.

That is why we have the Texas Open Meetings Act.
