Defending 4A champion Justin F. Kimball Knights defeat Northside Brennan 64-52, advance to 3rd straight state championship game

Tonight the defending boys state champion Justin F. Kimball Knights defeated San Antonio Northside Brennan 64-52 and will return to the State championship game on Saturday for the third straight year.

McDonald's All-American senior guard Keith Frazier scored 18 points.

The Kimball Knights (23-9) will face Rosenburg Terry (29-9) in the state championship game on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. - Frank Erwin Center - University of Texas at Austin .

The Kimball Knights - if successful - would become the first team to win three consecutive official 4A state championships since Houston Wheatley in 1968-1970.

In offering them my talent and passion, I am adding an enormous array of new bright stars to the vast firmament of their minds, stars that will never have time to fade in their lifetimes. I will be part of their story. And I know that each of them will always be part of mine. And that’s a good feeling, a feeling that is perpetually renewed, revisited, and rewritten in A Teacher’s Creed."
