"The counseling department unstintingly works to address the academic and socio-emotional needs of Jimmie Tyler Brashear students.  It serves as a school-wide safety net for students at risk of academic failure and families in need of various services.  Counselors establish community connections that provide services beyond the school walls."

"The counselors at Boude Storey Middle School are an integral part of the school. Saying it simply...they are the heart of the school.  Through guidance, responsive services, systems support and individual planning, our counselors are able to effectively produce a well-rounded comprehensive guidance program"
